the Company

First Mode is a Seattle-based engineering start up in the industrial decarbonization sphere. They develop and manufacture solutions for heavy industry and create vehicle retrofits that provide alternative solutions to diesel energy.

The job

I was hired shortly after the company rebranded to implement the brand both internally and externally. In addition to implementing the brand, I also built it up, updating the brand guidebook to cover all areas of need for the company. The following projects are just a sample of what I worked on during my time at First Mode.

Icon Library

A custom library of icons were created for use both internally and externally, based on the style of the brand logo.

Glyphs

A custom library of glyphs were created as decorative elements to illustrate concepts and ideas and to address the broad and multiple problems that the company aims to solve.
